Philosophy

Emilie says: I love wisdom ( phileos - love sophia - wisdom ) but don't pretend to know much about it. I usually leave that stuff to Meshed Gears. But an in world notecard and an article about Plato that I noticed have forced me to pay some attention; so this is a space to hold material I look at and find interesting in one way or another. Being of a curious bent, I'm taking a look, even though Plato, as I have heard him portrayed, never appealed to me; largely because Hypatia of Alexandria, one of my heroines, was renowned as the leading Neo-Platonist of her day. So he must have had something going for him?
