Elizabeth Taylor was undoubtedly once one of the world's most beautiful people. She helped many through her humanitarian work, not least of which was her championing of AIDS awareness. She could also be catty, witty and amusing - all of which serve to excuse a lot. All of this has been said all over the media and has been plastered across the Internet by people with more time and a better command of the art of the eulogy than me. Which is why I am not going to say any more, other than, "The fat lady has indubitably sung." |
