2010-12-16 Time Magazine ignores readers' votes and selects a spammer as "Man of the Year"

[ Emilie says : Time Magazine has selected appropriately for a representative of the expiring "main stream media" without the credibility to obtain early access to the Wikileaks materials. As such, Time's deselection of Assagne over the votes and voices of its readers and the evidence of the day to day news, demonstrates its deep adherence to delusions of American exceptionalism and total subservience to the military-industrial-media oligarchy. Expunging the clearly expressed opinions of its readers conveys the sense of a wish, to ostrich-like, pretend Wikileaks out of existence and so preserve a vestige of American prestige and a place for Time magazine. The result is, quite blatantly, a Meta Fail, discrediting Time for now and the future.  ]
